Jaynar understands the importance of going to school and shares his goal of earning an education–so that he can get a good job and help his parents. He writes about it in his essay “Why School?”. The School in a Cart in Cubao, the Philippines, where Jaynar and his sister Jean attend on weekends and over summer breaks, greatly appreciates Timothy’s donation. All donations to the school go toward teaching and learning aids, nutritious meals, and sometimes medicine. Whatever it takes to keep the children off the streets and in school.

Jaynar is one of the kids who is excited about going to school. He learned at an early age the importance of education. We appreciate every help we get to make it possible for these kids (many of them living on the streets) to continue writing and studying. The School in a Cart looks out for their school and medical needs, and gives them a warm meal.
