Thank you, Harrington Family, for your donation to Lift the Lid! Thank you for your moral support, your love of children, and your faith in life when the challenges feel steep. Thank you!

Nowel, a very mature young woman, writes about the lessons she’s learned in order to stay healthy and safe…to stay alive. At eleven years old, she has a clear understanding of the dangers in life and the responsibilities she must take to avoid them. From her writing it seems she has a clearer understanding of responsibility than many college-age students. Nowel is a strong writer, and we know from her previous post, “What Makes Me Happy”, that she loves to watch debates and practice making her own case. I’d say she does a great job here!

Nowel, I always love reading your writing! Thank you for your hard work and bravery, sharing the wisdom you’ve learned and your future goals, debating!

I look forward to hearing what you think of the learning tablets once you’ve gotten used to this different approach to education. It’s all very exciting!

    Sara
