School Events

Events

Lift the lid, Inc. inspires students in underprivileged schools around the world to write. See ‘What’s Inside?’ for examples. We occasionally organize events to help spread the word and to raise money for the schools we support. And occasionally the schools we support organize their own events to benefit the students. Here you can read about what’s going on and perhaps you’ll be inspired to take action.

Some fun ways that you can improve the education of our students: get your school or alma mater involved in an essay exchange; host a reading or writing competition for any of the schools LIFT THE LID sponsors; or visit any of our schools to help with teaching, building or repairs. A simple bake sale could buy paper and pens, vital components to writing and learning! We welcome your ideas, so jot them down in an email to info@lift-the-lid.org.
