It Will Be Okay, by Ann Nyambura

Ann writes, “As I struggle with leadership, Learning to cope with hardship, Experience being my own teacher…” and many other lines that speak for her honesty and wisdom. We believe teenagers are capable of great insight and maturity, if you believe in them and give them the space to prove themselves.

Ann was one of our Second Place winners in Lift the Lid’s Sixth Annual Writing Competition at Lenana Girls High School in Kitale, Kenya. We are so proud of her work and love sharing it with others. Congratulations, Ann!
