Lift the Lid is proud to announce that Chelangat Mercy won the 2nd Annual Writing Competition at Mogonjet Secondary School in Kericho, Kenya. His essay “Live a Life that Matters” was chosen from 5 finalists. Click on the image to read his insightful essay.

An award of $100 was given to Chelangat Mercy, $50 of which was used for the benefit of his class and the other $50 to help pay off his outstanding school fees. His is relieved to be able to continue his schooling and motivated to work harder.
