Here’s our 10th Annual Writing Competition Announcement from Mogonjet Secondary School in rural Bomet County, Kenya. The focus is on encouraging the students to write, as well as on celebrating the joy and power of self-expression.

Read quotes from each of the participant’s essays. Every year, we choose parts that show the student’s strengths and speak to us on a human level. It’s so much fun, but the best is seeing how their confidence grows and their writing improves every year.
