Conflict in Africa, by Geoffrey Kipyegon

Thank you Michael and Mary Goff for your donation to Mogonjet Secondary School in Kericho, Kenya. We now have enough funds to see our most immediate goal through to completion, opening a tailoring shop at the school! This will create a sustainable income for the school and will provide affordable uniforms for the students.
Geoffrey Kipyegon would like to share his essay “Conflict in Africa” to show his appreciation for your support. Usually, we receive personal essays or poems from the students, however, sometimes the older students want to share what they’ve learned at school. Geoffrey has written a knowledgeable essay, explaining the root of conflict in Africa. He ends expressing his hope for the future.
Geoffrey, “Conflict in Africa” is a very well-written essay! I agree with you completely that if people could live in harmony, respecting and caring for one another, then there would be prosperity for everyone. Hold tight to your ideals and don’t give up hope!
