Improvements to Mogonjet Secondary School
Since the second half of 2010, when Lift the Lid first sponsored Mogonjet Secondary School in Kericho, Kenya, we have wired $1033. The money sent has kept students attending school by covering school fees, has provided a fresh coat of paint for the classrooms and has helped to build a temporary kitchen.
Soon we will be sending Mogonjet another wire transfer. So far we’ve raised $517.88 to put towards the bursary fund for orphaned or partially orphaned students, as well as towards building a better kitchen and buying cooking equipment. Please help us to raise more money for this important rural school that educates 166 students.
I am very much grateful for your generosity to help the less privileged in our community. I will live to keep supporting you in all the programs you plan.
