Lenana Girls High School

Marinduque masks SIAC May2019

Before our Kenyan schools temporarily closed in March, some of the teachers and students at Lenana Girls High School in Kitale got busy making masks. We all know it helps to ease anxieties when we help others.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the students as they remain in quarantine with their family, friends, or caregivers. Living in poverty, our students are not only susceptible to COVICD-19, but hunger, homelessness, and abuse. Please remember them in your prayers.

We’re following government orders and preparing to reopen in June. The students will have a lot to write about, sharing their thoughts and experiences throughout the quarantine. We can’t wait to have them all back together again!

Donations are always needed and appreciated:
