Tribute to You, by Esther Namunyak

Tribute to You was written for Jemmimer, a much loved student of Namelok Junior Academy who passed away on June 17, 2012 after being attacked by bees.

Esther’s essay attempts to understand the passage of time after losing someone you love. It reads like a song. It searches for hope. It is a prayer, and it is a promise to Jemmimer to never forget him. Thank you, Sarah, for your generous donation to Namelok and for giving Esther this space to express her sorrow.
