Tanzania
Why Tanzania?
Only 14% of the population in the Arumeru District of Tanzania have completed high school education. 55% of the greater region (Arusha) live in poverty, with 23% living in extreme poverty.
We are so happy to partner with The Small Things, an Arumeru District nonprofit dedicated to family preservation through holistic support and residential care. Under the umbrella of The Small Things, we’ll be working specifically with Happy Family Children’s Village, which provides loving homes with committed long-term care for orphaned children who are unable to live with a family member.
There are many corners of the world where the children need immediate care, and Tanzania is one of them.
