We are beside ourselves with happiness for Olivia Cheptoo!! Thank you to our donors who gave so generously and urgently to purchase a new electric wheelchair. Olivia was paralyzed from her waist down at birth, and yet, despite many challenges, she is one of our top scholarship students at Mogonjet Secondary School in Bomet County, Kenya. She is loved by all her teachers and classmates, and before we had the new wheelchair ready, they were happy to carry her from class to class.
In October, she will be sitting for her Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education exam, and I’m 100% certain having a working wheelchair will give her the peace of mind she needs to focus and perform her best.
