Pen Pals
Lift the Lid offers the opportunity to embark on a letter-writing exchange with girls and boys from Kenya, ranging from primary school through high school. Whether from a rural African village or a bustling metropolis, pen pals are a window to the world; they see an opportunity for enlightenment and lifelong friendship and are excited to share their lives and home country. As the founder of Lift the Lid, I believe it’s a double win when we can create both local and global enhancement and learning opportunities.
Thank you for improving the lives and education of underprivileged children, encouraging their creative expression through writing, and giving them hope for the future. Together, we are lifting the lid on poverty by providing a window to the world where they can see the possibilities and their own potential.
