Lift the Lid is thrilled to partner with the National Charity League, Westport/Weston, Connecticut branch! We aim to connect 145 girls from Connecticut with 145 students from Lenana Girls’ Boarding School in Kitale, Kenya, and to continue our partnership for years to come. Thank you, NCL Westport/Weston branch, for giving your time and heart to our students at Lenana Girls’ Boarding School in Kitale, Kenya! You embraced this unique opportunity to befriend, inspire, and mentor ambitious young women, many of whom are orphans or under the care of their grandmothers or single mothers in rural Kenya. They have sincere hearts and many talents and interests to share. All around, this will be a meaningful and rewarding experience!
