Climbing for Water – Namelok Junior Academy

Climbing for water Namelok Mar 2018

I will be ski touring (uphill skiing) in Zermatt, Switzerland in order to raise $4000 to pipe clean water to Namelok Junior Academy in Kisamis, Kenya. This is a solo tour, climbing up to 13,000 feet, depending on conditions, and something I’ve never attempted before. Your support would mean a lot to me and everything to the 81 kids we support at Namelok Junior Academy through Lift the Lid.

By raising nearly $17,000 since 2011, we’ve helped the school grow from a gathering place under a tree to having five classrooms, a kitchen and lunch program, books, learning tablets, and school supplies.

Yet they need so much more, and especially running water. Please donate whatever you can here: Donate Now or on our Facebook page: Lift the Lid FB page. All donations are secure and your information will be kept private. As well, 100% of your contribution will go toward our Water Project at Namelok.

In order to dig, I will climb!
