Aids Has No Cure, by Laureria Wafula

Lift the Lid is grateful for Shirley and David from London for their contribution to building Lenana Girls High School in Kitale, Kenya.

In exchange for their donation, Laureria wrote a very frank, very honest poem about aids that is unique for its sing-along tone and rhythm. She certainly shows how aids can affect the innocent. Laureria is currently a student of Pathfinder Academy, which was built by Common Ground for Africa, the organization behind Lenana Girls High School. Laureria hopes to continue her education at Lenana.
