My Ambition, by Enock Ng’etich

Enock’s essay, My Ambition, addresses the widespread issue of rural students, in particular, not being able to continue their education do to poverty. These students take nothing for granted, not one lesson. Education feels life or death to them, and their parents or caregivers often have to skimp on dinners in order to scrape together the money for fees each semester. Enock has the drive to excel in his studies, but he’ll need the funds to continue.
