Lift the Lid and the young women at Lenana Girls High School are deeply grateful for the donation of author Lisa Belcastro, her award-winning novel Shenandoah Nights. Set in both modern day on the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard and back during the American Revolution, this story of time-travel wraps mystery, suspense, romance, and a look into life in America during the late 1700’s. Thank you!!
Five copies went to the finalists of Lenana’s Second Annual Writing Competition sponsored by Lift the Lid. We always encourage the winners to loan or donate their copies to the school so that all will have the experience of reading great literature.
