I wish I could meet with you in person to thank you for your commitment to Lift the Lid. Your ongoing donations are crucial to our work. Lift the Lid’s overall mission is to ensure and improve the education of students living in poverty in Kenya, Tanzania, and the Philippines, from primary school through high school, and in some cases, through university. We achieve this by allocating 100% of all donations to our projects and scholarship funds.

Partnerships with organizations like the National Charity League, Asics, Hungry for Music, and Global Girls Leading enable us to create cultural connections and go beyond just meeting our students’ basic needs. As you stand with us to end poverty, we would like to show our appreciation. I’m attaching an essay from one of our many talented students.
